I have said it before and I will say it again, Pinterest is the best kept secret of online marketing. As a matter of fact, the most common question bloggers have is how to get more traffic with Pinterest. The answer in brief: creating viral pins.
This post is the sequel to my last post: How To Make Your Pins Go Viral.

In this post, I plan to teach you time-saving strategies as well as new ways you can get your content in front of a larger audience, regardless of how many followers you have.

Group Boards
If you aren’t familiar with Pinterest group boards yet, they essentially are a Pinterest board with a group of contributors. (Pretty self explanatory huh)
Most group boards have rules, for instance, you typically have to be following the creator and for every pin you share to the board you have to repin one other persons in the board.
Following these group board rules are to your benefit. It is important that you take these guidelines seriously because that is what makes the group board so successful.
When it comes to group boards, you get out what you put in.
The benefit of being involved in group boards is when you share a pin, you are not only sharing a pin to your audience, you have the potential to share that pin to the group boards audience too.
Say for example, you pin something in my group board and I repin it. That pin will instantly be in front of all of your audience, and every single one of my followers, making the chances of it going viral way higher. Pretty neat huh?
So, are you looking to join a group board? You are in luck! I have two group boards that are ready for new contributors!

TAILWIND
If you are wondering how to get more traffic on Pinterest, the answer is Tailwind.
If you are going to take any of my advice today, let it be this: Tailwind is NECESSITY for a successful blogger. Every serious blogger out there will tell you that investing in a tailwind account is worth it. You grow your blog, build a stronger audience, find more connections and to top it off, save yourself SO. MUCH. TIME.
PS. At the end of this post, I am going to give you an offer code to get 1 month FREE of Tailwind so keep on reading!
The sooner you sign up for tailwind, the faster you will see results. I promise.
So, what is Tailwind?
Tailwind is an automatic scheduler for both Pinterest and Instagram. (This post we will be talking about how to use it for Pinterest)
Tailwind comes with a lot of features for you to upgrade to and choose from making the entire pinning process smooth and successful.
Today we are going to go over my two favorite features that Tailwind has to offer and in my opinion, the two best features that I recommend you use.
The first is of course tailwinds best feature and main purpose: the pin scheduler. This is the basic package that most everyone gets when starting off with tailwind.
The pin scheduler is the ultimate TIME SAVER. You can scheduler your pins to a bunch of different boards and it will post them at the best time your audience is active. I use this scheduler to pre-pin anywhere from 150-350 pins a WEEK to as many boards as I desire.
The best part is, the scheduler does it all. Before Tailwind, I would spend 1-2 hours a day pinning new pins, this scheduler saves me 10 hours a week to make more content. 100% worth it for a new blogger.
Another amazing feature is Tailwind Tribes. Tailwind tribes comes with the basic plan but I HIGHLY recommend you use a powerup and get access to more tribes.
When I added the power up to unlimited Tailwind tribes my traffic tripled in 2 months! Tailwind Tribes is like group boards but BETTER. They give you SO much traffic and opportunity to chat with tribe members. (A key feature that you should definitely use!)
For the basic plan + the Tailwind Tribes powerup, you will be spending around $40 a month.
Yes it is expensive, but as every millionaire out there says…. you have to spend money to make money.
Consider this an investment in yourself. It is definitely worth it.
