If you are looking for an easy apple crisp recipe that is healthy, easy AND tastes good keep on scrollin’
Even better? This apple crisp recipe is Gluten Free, Dairy Free annnnnd no added sugar but you could never tell! It is just as good (if not better) as an OG crumble and my gluten loving dad devoured it.
Time: 10 minutes to prep, 30 minutes to cook, 5 minutes to smash.
SO heres what ya gotta do…
ingredients:
- 4 large honey crisp apples (I do honey crisp to sweeten it up since we won’t be adding sugar)
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- almond flour (gluten free ppl, gluten free)
- walnuts or pecans (I prefer walnuts because they are obviously the better nut but do as you please)
- gluten free cinnamon granola
- cant believe its not butter (tbh, what is it?)
- honey honey honey
round up your ingredients, then heres watcha do next:
-
chop the apples into very thin slices and put into mixing bowl - the thinner the better! just don't chop your finger. (peep this *cutting glove. your fingers are worth the $7)
-
mix in 1 tsp of vanilla extract
-
add cinnamon + nutmeg STIR --- > add raw sugar here if you would like :)
-
crush up the walnuts, granola, flour and butter
-
add the remaining vanilla extract in the bowl (1 tsp) then spread the mixture on top of the sliced apples
-
drizzle honey over top -- > sprinkle sugar if you prefer
-
bake at 400 degrees COVERED for 10 minutes
-
remove cover and continue baking for 15- 20 minutes
-
let cool
-
guilt free SMASH
ur welcome 🙂
