A good face cleanser is step number one in your skin care routine. Day and night give yourself a clean pallet to work with. Here are the top facial cleansers that I highly recommend.
Note: my face has always been a little sensitive when it comes to cleansers and all the products below are ones that I have tried and worked well for me.

FRE Purify Me Hydrating Cleanser
I recently heard of this brand few weeks ago and tried a sample from my Ipsy Glam Bag and so far it has moved its way up to my #1 facial cleanser. This cleanser is so lightweight but still leaves you feeling like you got a good wash in. It does not dry out your face and the little infused beads give you a light exfoliation which is always a plus. You can get this individual bottle on amazon for $35 or the whole pack for $110!
Micellar Water
Micellar water is the most practical facial cleanser. You don’t have to wash it off, doesn’t burn, it balances your pH and its affordable. This is a good quick fix the brush the surface when your in a rush.
First Aid Beauty
I LOVE THIS BRAND. It is the best rated, least expensive cleanser I have came across. I have tried both of their cleansers and love each of them for slightly different reasons. The red clay cleanser is always in my shower. This brand is affordable, cruelty free, natural, safe ingredients for your skin and doesn’t lead to break outs. Check out the two cleansers below
First Aid Beauty Skin Cleanser (1)
For your every day cleanse. Keep this in your shower and give yourself a quick face wash for the refreshing feel. Safe for all skin types.
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser With Red Clay (2)
This facial cleanser is probably my favorite of the two because I feel it really gives you that deep clean feel. The red clay triggers the natural enzymes leaving your face healthy and glowing.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
This is a facial cleanser I have never tried before but it was Clinique, had 4.7/5 Stars so I knew it was worth the investment. Results? I love it. This cleanser is so unique from the others as it literally “melts your makeup away”. It gets hard to budge makeup off with out stretching and tugging at your skin leaving it fresh and clean. Definitely worth it for those lazy nights you wanna cut your PM skin care routine in half.
Philosophy Purity Made Simple Face Wash
This product is one of the highest rated facial cleansers you can buy. It is a well known, trusted brand that doesn’t fail. This cleanser did a great job at washing my face BUT for the price, the only difference I noticed between this one and the First Aid Beauty was the delicious smell. Other than that, this was just as good as the others but with a higher price tag.
Best pH Balanced Face Wash – Drunk Elephant Pekee Bar
This bar is perfect for anyone trying to keep their pH levels balanced for that wellness lifestyle. This facial cleansing bar was very thorough with removing makeup and left my skin squeaky clean. The only down side is after consistent use, you need to make sure you MOISTURIZE. This bar left my skin a little on the drier side but was fixed up real quick after my normal skin care routine.
Best Face Wash For Men – – Jet Black Pure Clean
Ok so I have never understood the concept of branding skin care “for men” vs “for woman” because gender literally has zero impact but the marketing works so whuteva. This facial cleanser is the top rated facial cleansers for men out there. This is a great gift idea for your boyfriend to ease him into skin care. (I have come so far and now got mine doing face masks w me hehe) buy this face wash as a surprise gift for him!
Witch Hazle
I love witch hazel and all of its benefits. It is a 2-for-1 kinda deal while it cleanses and tones your skin which I love. However, for my personal experience and skin type (clear, dry) when it comes to liquid base cleanser I prefer the Micelle water. I feel the Micelle is lighter on my skin and doesn’t dry it out. BUT if you have acne prone skin and looking for a liquid quick wash, I would recommend the witch hazel over the Micelle Water. They are both great but know whats great for you!
